A look at a hadith explaining the benefit of reading Quran, interpreted in a literal sense so that we may appreciate the mercy of Allah SWT and be reminded. Even more merciful is Allah in Ramadan, whereby rewards are multiplied uncountably on top of the blessings we are already given.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Whoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah will receive a good deed, and this is multiplied by ten. I do not say that Alif-Laam-Meem is a letter, rather Alif is a letter, Laam is a letter, and Meem is a letter.” at-Tirmidhi
