Swamped in Sins and the Valley of Despair

O you who have believed, respond to Allah and to the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life! ~ [Surat Al-‘Anfāl, verse 24]

When you do what Allah wants you to do your physical and spiritual lives will flourish and when you turn away from what Allah wants you to do your physical and spiritual lives will both wither away and die.

Of the worst diseases that a person can be afflicted with is the hardening of the hearts where both the physical and spiritual lives suffer.
