What does Islam say about test tube pregnancies, sex change operations, and organ donations?
If the whole of humankind and jinnkind got together to create a fly, they could not do it. We cannot create life from inanimate matter. Life is external. It is not a product of matter. Basically, Islam permits one format, one way: a man and his wife. If using scientific methods to conceive in the event of infertility, only a man and his wife may follow through with such a thing. After combining the sperm from the husband with the egg from the wife, the fertilized egg MUST be put back into the wife’s womb. No other surrogate is permitted. May Allah protect us.
